My organization, PhilNet-RDI which is also a member of Rice Watch Action Network, is trying to ask assistance from some funding agencies in Europe to help our group meet again hopefully to discuss possible collaboration between and among our organizations. The prospects seem good. Initially, we could hold a climate adaptation conference here in the Philippines with representatives of NGOs from Indonesia, East Timor, Cambodia, Myanmar, Nepal, Philipines, etc. to formalize our organization and chart plans so that our NGOs could really work concrete actions in our commuties to mitigate the effects of climate variability with the intentions of building disaster resilient communities. What is your opininon about this idea?
